Changing the SAPGUI Logo on the Right Hand Side

Steps to change the default SAP IMAGE on the right hand column of the screen :-
Transaction code - SMW0

  1. X - Binary data for WebRFC application
  2. Hit Enter
  3. Click Execute
  4. Click Settings -> Maintain MIME types
  5. Click the Create button
  6. Fill in :- TYPE : image/gif EXTENSION : .GIF
  7. Click Save
  8. Click Back to the Binary data for WebRFC
  9. Click Create
  10. Fill in :- Obj. name : ZXXXX.GIF Description :
  11. Company Logo
  12. Click Import and specify the filename where your
  13. GIF file is
  14. located.File type is BIN. Finish press the
  15. Transfer button.
  16. If successful, your logo will be shown in the
  17. Binary data for WebRFC.
  18. Transaction code SM30 - Table/View - SSM_CUST
  19. Click Maintain
  20. Click New Entries
  21. Name Value to be set
  22. START_IMAGE ZXXXX.GIF
  23. RESIZE_IMAGE NO
  24. Logoff and Login again

Few Tips for Transport Request Manipulation

DON’T USE THESE UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NEEDED. The purpose of transport request is to organize and move development objects from one server (say development) to other server. But sometime due to conflict in timing of different releases, we may need to move objects from one transport to other transport to release lock / dependency / to avoid transport failure due to missing object. It’s not very easy task always, especially if the Transports are complex and contain multiple components.
